We had a really fun BBQ tonight for all teachers/staff at our principal/wood shop teachers house. It was pot luck with really yummy food. Only down fall was that it was freezing. There were reports of snow today.
There was some drama in the Jr. high today. Three 7th graders went over to an 8th grader's house last night to beat up the 8th grader. The dad kicked the boys out, but they said that they would get him today. All teachers were on "fight watch" Luckily nothing happened, but there is always tomorrow!
Our friend Caleb's wife comes tomorrow, and hopefully we'll go camping this weekend.
Here are some pictures from the BBQ.

Do the locals think it is cold? I notice some with stocking caps and the boy in a t shirt. Any interesting food? Fight patrol, did you learn anything about that at college?
Yes, people thought that it was unseasonally cool. There were alot of kids there playing basketball, and some of the kids had just run in from Cross Country practice.
Fight patrol, we discussed but never really did much for than that.
I talked to a gal today whose husband was in service. Their second base was in Alaska where they arrived (in August) with their shorts and sandals from Charleston. She admitted they had not done a great deal of research...it was August for heaven's sake! They had warmer bases after Alaska and has memories of Alaska being majestic!
alright A&E, what's with your governor as mccain's vp? you move up there and already they're sending people back to the lower 48? (just wondering what the buzz up north was). take care you two!
